Sweet Valley Confidential: Ten Years Later

It’s been more than decade since the last time I’ve read a Sweet Valley novel. I was totally addicted to Sweet Valley and I practically have the whole collection, from Sweet Valley Twins to Sweet Valley University.

I stopped reading Sweet Valley books when I discovered the internet and mIRC, hehe.

In Sweet Valley Confidential, the twins are now 27 years old.

Ten years after graduating from Sweet Valley High, the Wakefield twins have had a falling out of epic proportions. When Jessica commits a complete and utter betrayal, Elizabeth flees to New York to escape pain and immerse herself in her lifelong dream of becoming a journalist.

Jessica remains in California, dealing with the fallout of her heart-wrenching choices. She has a career she loves and lots of old friends, but she misses her sister, her oldest best friend. With Elizabeth as her enemy, Sweet Valley is no longer the idyllic town of their youth.

Jessica longs for forgiveness, but Elizabeth can’t forgive her twin’s duplicity. She decides the only way to heal her broken heart is to get reveng. Always the ‘good twin’, the one getting her reckless sister out of trouble, Elizabeth is now about to turn the tables…

Sweet Valley Confidential is not a continuation of the Sweet Valley Saga. It actually closes the whole series so I’m really quite intrigued about how this book will go.

Can’t wait to read it!
