La Union Getaway Part II: Cayo and Sarah’s Dreamy La Union Wedding!

The next day, we woke up at around 930AM just in time for the complimentary breakfast when you book a room at Thunderbird Resorts.

Breakfast is only good for two (2) people so if you have more than 2 in a room, one will have to shell out some cash for breakfast. Breakfast is served at the Olives Restaurant until 10AM from Mondays to Saturdays, 11AM on Sundays.

A romantic-looking breakfast to start a day of love… *cheese*

They had an assortment of breakfast food, from pancakes, to tapas, cheese, bread, fruits, cereals and omelettes.

After breakfast we decided to walk around Thunderbird to see what the resort has to offer.

Went further down by the ocean.

The ocean! Or is it the sea?

This is where Cayo and Sarah had their pre-reception cocktails

Walking towards the Cliffs Beach Club. Pretty view!

Cliffs Beach Club. See if you can spot the wedding set up!

It was almost noon when we decided to head back to our room to relax a bit and start dressing for Cayo and Sarah’s wedding.

Ordered room service for lunch! We had pizza and tiramisu.

Mandatory vanity shots πŸ˜‰ Did my own hair and makeup. Accessories from SM πŸ™‚ Shoes from Crocs

Needless to say, Cayo and Sarah’s wedding was very beautiful. The theme of their wedding was ‘Dreams’ and they did a really amazing job with all the wedding details. The wedding had a very child-like and whimsical theme which had Sarah’s personality written all-over πŸ˜‰

Misalette with the confetti for when the couple will exit the church.

Saint Peter and Paul Parish, Bauang, La Union

Huge church! No airconditioning, though.

My favorite part of the nuptial ceremony: the Bride’s entrance πŸ™‚ Sarah looking gorgeous in her Rosa Clara wedding gown.

Cute boutonniere literally made of buttons πŸ˜‰

Congratulations and Best Wishes!

Back to Thunderbird Resorts. At the Cliffs Beach Club.

Couple’s table.

Our table! The table names were stuff that could help you dream. Our table name was ‘Moon’.

Tiny bells!

Marshmallow clouds! πŸ™‚

Nom, nom. The marshmallows weren’t edible, though. You CAN eat them, but think of the people who touched them!

Games! Love how they incorporated technology, so geeky! πŸ™‚

More games to keep the guest occupied while waiting for the food.

Love locks, a symbol of love and commitment

You write the name of the person you want to be with forever, and you throw the key into the ocean/sea

Dream Tent!

Inside the Dream Tent.

Their giveaways. Cute personalized candies with the letters C and S πŸ™‚

I missed a few details, like the fireworks. They also had a Dream Catcher booth where you can make your own dream catchers πŸ™‚

The after-party Rockeoke!

To Cayo and Sarah, congratulations and best wishes! May the Force be with you and may you have many geeky babies!
