Geek Girl Says…

While I’ve mentioned that these phones are capable of playing Pokemon Go, they, however may not present the best Pokemon experience.

(BUT I’m not saying these phones are bad, okay?!)

In fact, they are actually quite really good in terms of their price range. But of course, if you’re used to high-end phones like the iPhone or Samsung’s higher-end models, the gap in performance is really noticeable.

You might experience a little lag here and there, especially if multiple applications are running on the phone.

Although, if you’re looking for a dedicated phone just for Pokemon Go, I think these phones would be awesome choices! (Hehehehe…)

I would recommend the models with 2GB RAM and higher, and definitely the ones with LTE-capability.

Given that, I suppose the best choice among the phones would be the Xfinit, notwithstanding the 1.0ghz quad core and 2000mAh battery.

If O+ USA would improve the CPU and the battery life, then I would 100%, wholeheartedly place the Xfinit on the recommend list for Pokemon hunting!

  1. Is O+ USA a Filipino brand? All the reviews I read about their phones were all by Filipinos.

It’s supposedly a US brand, assembled in China, but it also has a strong market in the Philippines 🙂
